You have to be multi skilled when on a boat.

After sailing other peoples boats I bought our own.  A 28ft Townson on which most weekends for nine years we had a lot of fun sailing around Auckland , Great Barrier Island, the Coromandel and the Bay of Islands.

In 2017 I sold my home and bought SV Imagine, a larger boat so I could sail and explore different places, so my Boat is now my home. I have sailed in the South Pacific from NZ to Tonga, Western Samoa, the Isle of Wallis, Fiji, Vanuatu and part of the east coast of Australia.

Berengere began sailing as a child in the English Channel. Since living in Australia has been sailing/cruising the east coast of Australia and Tasmania.

We are pretty easy going and regularly take on crew to share in our adventures. We do not have a timetable (sailing requires flexibility as is dependent on weather conditions) and sometimes you find a place that you simply just want to spend more time in. I prefer to travel off the beaten track, exploring places where there are less tourists and allowing us time to spend meeting the locals especially in the outer islands of the destinations we travel  to. We spend as little time as possible in tourist places and marinas.
